Using FRT technology fibers can be obtained and sorted dry for the first time ever.

The use of FRT fibers leads to a productivity and quality enhancement based on an improved persistency and higher water absorption capacity inside the fiber.

To enable this, several side effects are involved:

  • fibrillation (smooth felting)
  • spiral structure after FRT use
  • fibers are kept as long as possible

This gentle procedure ensures therewith highest fiber quality at optimal fiber length.
FRT fibers allow significantly lower production costs related to wet pulp extraction.
